I was once like you. In 2009, during the time of the economic crisis known as 'The Great Recession' in the United States and globally, I graduated with a B.S. in Business Management from San Jose State University. With low grades and a challenging job market, I felt almost hopeless in my job search. After much effort, I was lucky enough to secure my first full-time job at a small, family-owned staffing agency with a salary of $40,000.

Recognizing the rarity of opportunities, I spent the following twelve years diligently enhancing my skills and striving for career progression. My efforts led to rapid advancements through several key recruiting positions at industry giants such as Hewlett Packard and Cisco. This journey led me to Meta (formerly Facebook), where I had the privilege of leading a team responsible for recruiting software engineers for the Video Infrastructure division, the creators of Facebook Livestream. Following this tenure, I assumed a senior role at Amazon, contributing to recruitment strategies and talent acquisition for a pioneering Robotics product. This innovative team developed Astro, the first commercially available home robot, which retails through Amazon for $1,500.

Despite achieving considerable success in my career, I was determined to avoid the "rat race" of the corporate world where hard work often yields just enough to get by without the possibility of wealth accumulation. I invested a significant amount of time in conducting thorough research and applying financial strategies to invest in the stock and real estate markets. Thanks to my diligent and flexible investment plan that closely follows economic cycles, I seized many opportunities and significantly increased my wealth. This enabled me to break free from the limitations of the traditional paycheck-centric mindset and achieve notable financial progress.

Recognizing that coaching is an under-appreciated resource among Vietnamese individuals, many seek instant success without realizing that significant results come from changing within, investing in skills, and gaining knowledge to make confident and wise decisions. In 2023, I began sharing my journey on social media to inspire others that with proper planning, anyone can surpass mediocrity and attain their envisioned American Dream. Consequently, I received tremendous recognition and a high number of inquiries for advice, leading to the natural formation of Evan Coaching LLC.

Shortly after launching our coaching service, I brought onboard a team of young, dynamic, and savvy professionals to help me streamline and expand our services. Our goal is to support not only individuals but also business owners in thriving within the competitive business landscape.
